Inactivity

Its been days since I decided to post something here. I got busy with my Farm Town and had some minor problems. I got really addicted with Farm Town and enjoyed playing DoTA and Tribal Wars again. UFC 101 Declaration Review was not that nice and after I watched it again and again.

I got so inactive that I forgot to open this blog for days. Oh no! Exam is just days away and I am cramming. Gotta study for just a ample span of time. Plus projects…oh the heck. I am having tough time composing this with troublesome thoughts.

I’m back in playing Tribal Wars! Almost half a year since I got tired of playing this addictive game. Just trying to cope up with the trend and hopefully get to know the game again. Activity is a must so better adjust my seat belts and ready for take-off.

Good thing 2 days of freedom. No class yet a project to look after. But still I can sit in front of the computer and reverse inactivity. I gotta strike while the iron is hot. I’m really damn bored this time around. I just wanted to type words then phrases and then paragraphs. I gotta take a good night rest. Rest assured tomorrow will be study time for me in the morning. Must be prepared for incoming barrage of quizzes and activities.

Wild Wild Week

August started with a blast.

Monday was weird as there were several people who were absent. I was shocked when I was the first person who arrived. When I saw a dark and odorous alien like woman stepped on the stairs and greeted me. Whew! Maybe she thought that I was Billy staring seriously. Some parts of the city were painted yellow. Ran some errands and slept kinda late trying to amuse myself with…LOL. Played some strings then snored and dreamed of something special about Tuesday…

Rough time waking up Tuesday morning. I was too worried about my Homeroom assignment that I had many favorite tv show, song and motto. Hahappy Birthday to youuu…just when Edward walked the stairs and smiled cheerfully and turned around and it was his birthday. No Poaline no one to talk with. Just when we planned in Science. I just saw Rikka wearing my long lost baller (almost 3 weeks) and Reven gave it back to me. WTF?!? Coincidence I left it in the nook then she got it?!? But anyways I was really happy that I got it back plus tomorrow is another day…Haha..

Owowow. Wednesday is intended for Cory Aquino’s burial and its a national holiday. Thanks Arroyo you really made me smile and its National Mark Arlo Day. Haha.

Freakin’ Wedding Entrance

From Plurk to Twitter and Youtube. One of the top videos and searches is the video shown above. What a cool entrance for a wedding. Especially when the two ushers threw the colored papers up in the air. But I really liked the slow mo part of the video.

Thanks to Chloe, I shared this first to her and requested her to GM this on the Yahoo Messenger. Although this is one disrespectful act I still liked the whole wedding entrance when they danced altogether.

Fatherly Feast

Google Doodle

Dad, Papa, Dada, Papi, Daddy these are only some of the names we call to our dear parents who supported us since our birth. Today is Fathers’ Day which is celebrated by 52 countries around the world. Fathers’ Day is a way of honoring our dear fathers every third Sunday of June.

We usually celebrate the feast for my father by waking up early to greet my father. However, today my father woke us up to greet him. Hehe…nowadays its reverse for us because we usually sleep late every weekends. We then go to the church for the Sunday mass which is normal for almost every Filipino around the country. Our favorite part is the eating which is really typical for my family. We really enjoy watching the sports events with the family like UFC or Pay-Per-View Events like famous boxing fights.

Today hopefully we can have a pleasant day with the whole family. Plus I love the Google Doodle and the trending topic in Twitter today is Fathers’ Day.

Happy Fathers’ Day to all fathers. Yeah! We will have a fatherly feast this day. Ciao!

Internet Slangs

A web junkie like me is fond of using the so-called Internet Slangs when I chat or even talk with people. I ran through the slang leet which means elite in particular games like Counter-Strike. I’ve been playing the game since I was in grade school. I encountered this word from L337 Crew.

These internet slangs as they say alters students’ or teens’ skills in writing. I admit I also use some slangs especially in gaming and chatting, particularly n00b and btw (by the way) sometimes. Its really unavoidable for me to use these slangs to make words or lines shorter when I’m surfing on the web.

When I googled (searched) it on the web I fell on Wikipedia and Wikitionary.

With the issue of internet slangs that could result to students having poor results in writing. But for me, it’s not that of a problem to me in accordance to my studies when I am using internet slangs. I can still write eloquently and efficiently like me writing this web log or blog.

Goodbye for now. This Megatokyo web comic makes my head spin, from the title and info it really sounds interesting. Maybe, my next post will be about the comic.

Twitter

The internet phenomena, Twitter has turned almost everyone addicted into a mind-blogging site. At first, I thought twitter was just like Facebook or Plurk wherein you are updating your tasks daily. Yes, it really was. However, Twitter added twists and turns to make it more addictive just like a pill.

First time I heard it on the web and television, I found it a bit interesting yet stupid with its name, Twitter. But then I realized and remembered the quote, “Don’t judge a book by its cover” and then I tried it many times and it changed my view on it and I was deeply convinced on how fun it is.

The good thing also was the trending topics which was like the breaking news daily.

Twitter is really useful as it gives information of yourself to friends and people around you.

Indeed, Twitter easily took the spotlight. Just like the year 3000 prediction Youtube, Twitter and Facebook will merge and become YouTwitFace. Lolz.
